Our response to COVID-19

Following the latest directions from the government and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to make considerable adaptions to our service for the foreseeable future.

It is with huge sadness and regret that we are not currently able to run the face to face delivery of our Smart Works dressing and coaching service.  In addition, we have now made the choice to close all our office locations while the current government restrictions are in place. As our offices are currently closed, we won’t be able to accept clothing donations.  However, please use this time to keep collecting clothes as they will be desperately needed soon.

It remains our absolute commitment to help any woman who needs our support. While our phones are still ringing and our clients need us, we will be here to help them. We will be continuing to deliver a virtual service to those who need it. This will now consist of a one to one personalised hour of video or phone coaching with one our volunteer coaches, and we will re-start wardrobe parcels as soon as we are able.

When we are once again able to fully open our offices and see clients, we will also be offering a dressing service to those who have used our virtual service during this time.

We have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our partners during this difficult time and we want to take a moment to thank every single one of you that has helped or reached out. We know that soon, the need for our service will be greater than ever and your donations will be essential.

These are challenging times for everyone, but it will end and when it does Smart Works will be there, ready to bring our full service to the many women who will need it.
