Our response to COVID-19
Following the latest directions from the government and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to make considerable adaptions to our service for the foreseeable future.
It is with huge sadness and regret that we are not currently able to run the face to face delivery of our Smart Works dressing and coaching service. However it remains our absolute commitment to help any woman who needs our support. While our phones are still ringing and our clients need us, we will be here to help them. We will be continuing to deliver a virtual service to those who need it. This will now consist of a one to one personalised hour of video or phone coaching with one our volunteer coaches, and we will re-start wardrobe parcels as soon as we are able.
We are also excited to announce that after many weeks, we are now able to accept clothing donations in our London centres. We can accept donations of high-quality women’s workwear in our Ladbroke Grove centre on Wednesdays (10am-4pm) and in our Islington centre on Thursdays (10am-4pm).
We have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our partners during this difficult time and we want to take a moment to thank every single one of you that has helped or reached out. We know that soon, the need for our service will be greater than ever and your donations will be essential.
These are challenging times for everyone, but it will end and when it does Smart Works will be there, ready to bring our full service to the many women who will need it.
