Supporting women in need into employment
Smart Works Reading tackles a root cause of poverty by supporting women in need into employment. Our simple and effective free service gives clients with a confirmed job interview a tailored coaching session and a high-quality interview outfit, which is theirs to keep. We work individually with every client to help them recognise their key strengths, feel confident, succeed at their interview and ultimately gain economic independence.
Remote interview coaching available during lockdown
During lockdown, Smart Works Reading is delivering the service through video link or on the phone, with specially selected interview outfits being posted to clients.
Holy Brook Associates is already helping Smart Works Reading with training and advice on implementing a new accounts package. The firm has also offered to support with raising awareness, pro bono work based on a needs-based consultation and with donations and fundraising.
