Smart Works Newcastle is dressed to impress by AkzoNobel image

Our interview coaching room was recently given a complete makeover thanks to a generous donation from AkzoNobel Ashington.

Following a successful application, we received 15 litres of the company’s Dulux Trade Vinyl Soft Sheen paint in a delicate blue colour. The result is a calming and friendly space for our volunteer coaches to deliver interview coaching to clients.

The new light blue colour has made a huge difference –  completely changing the look and feel of the room. We have had lots of positive feedback from clients who now really enjoy using the space. We can’t thank AkzoNobel enough.

Alex Wardle, process engineer at AkzoNobel Ashington, commented:

“Since we opened the doors to our new manufacturing facility in Ashington two years ago, AkzoNobel has been on a mission to help positively colour the lives of people living in the local community and show the world that AkzoNobel Cares.”

“We truly believe in the transformative power of colour which is why, wherever possible, we are committed to making donations of paint and volunteering time to community groups and organisations like Smart Works. We were absolutely blown away by the work of Smart Works Newcastle and we’re delighted that our donation has helped to make such a difference to their service.”
