Service Update : Covid-19

Following the latest advice from the Government, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken the decision to pause the face-to-face delivery of our Smart Works dressing and interview coaching service for the foreseeable future.

It is with huge regret and sadness that we will not be able to welcome our clients and volunteers into our centres for the time being. However, it remains our absolute commitment to help any women who needs our support.

Currently, we are offering the following services, and will continue to remain nimble and focused on helping where we can effectively do so over the coming weeks.

  • We will be delivering one-to-one interview preparation over the phone with one of our expert coaching volunteers.
  • We are working with our referral partners and the recruitment sector to keep up to date with recruitment needs
  • We are working with other organisations to share support and resources, including offering opportunities to our volunteers
  • We are continuing to signpost our clients to other forms of support where needed
These are challenging times for everyone, but we know that it will end, and when it does, our service will be a huge necessity as the economy restarts. We will be here, ready to bring our full service to the many women who will need our help.

We want to keep our community connected and ready for the moment when we can leap back into full action. We will be using our social media channels to keep everyone connected, so if you aren’t yet, now is a great time to following us and stay engaged with all the wonderful content on there.
