Smart Works London are hiring a Bookkeeper image

We are hiring a Bookkeeper to join our high profile and fast-growing UK charity.

This newly created role will report in directly to the Head of Finance at our busy North London HQ.  Your main role is to is update the accounts package for income and expenditure, so when it comes to filing accounts there is an accurate trail of all the outgoings.  You will be good with numbers, have high attention to detail and be highly organised with a track record of having completed similar roles in the charity or private sector. You should have good IT skills, particularly in Excel.

The post is a part-time role based at our HQ in London and working hours can be agreed in advance with the successful candidate. The starting salary will be up to £26,000 Full Time Equivalent (pro rata for hours of work) depending on qualifications and experience.

The intended hours are 1.5 days per week, which we anticipate being spread over 2 to 3 days each week.
