The Fashion Club: Anya Hindmarch & Kate Reardon “in conversation” image

The Smart Works Fashion club is our exclusive membership club for those who have a passion for fashion and want to hear from the industry’s legends and innovators, all whilst supporting women back into the workplace. We run two events per year for our members and past speakers include Jane Shepherdson, Emma Barnett, Alexandra Shulman, Betty Jackson, Jennifer Saunders and Samantha Cameron.

This May, we are bringing together legendary handbag designer Anya Hindmarch and British journalist Kate Reardon and for an exclusive in conversation event. Anya Hindmarch founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand. The first accessories designer to hold an on-schedule London Fashion Week show, Anya Hindmarch has become renowned within the industry, for its production and creativity. Kate Reardon, Editor-in-chief of The Times LUXX, began her career on the US edition of Vogue magazine as its youngest ever fashion assistant, and was made fashion director of the British Tatler magazine at the age of 21 before moving onto Vanity Fair and was named as “one of Britain’s best writers” by The Times. This fabulous pairing of fashion legends must simply not be missed. The evening will be hosted at the Grade II-listed West London gem, The Tabernacle.

For the second year running, we are pleased to reveal that The Cross Boutique in Notting Hill will be joining the event with founder Sam Robinson offering our guests some fabulous shopping. Sam and her team curate the best secret sale in London. Expect to find vintage, designer pieces and some outstanding bargains.

For this event, we are offering a limited number of one-off tickets to those who are interested in joining The Smart Works Fashion Club and want to experience an evening with us first. The ticket price will then be redeemable on a full membership if you choose to join the club within a week of the event. Our existing Fashion Club members must RSVP as soon as possible to fashionclub@smartworks.org.uk

We hope you are able to join us for an inspiring evening of fashion, conversation and fabulous shopping, all to support women into the workplace.
