Over £150,000 raised for the Big Stella x Smart Works Sale at Bicester Village image
Over £150,000 raised!

On Sunday, the doors closed on our very first Stella X Smart Works boutique, kindly hosted by Bicester Village. We wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who made the last three weeks possible.

Thank you to the incredible team at Stella Magazine, your inspiring belief in what we do never falters.

Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Bicester Village, whose Do Good vision and generosity made our first pop-up boutique possible.

A big thanks to all the brands and fashion industry insiders for your donations, our rails looked amazing and our shoppers were blown away.

Thank you to the Smart Works staff and volunteers, who kept the boutique running and beautifully merchandised.

And thank you to every single shopper who helped us to reach this total.

Smart Works Ambassador and Daily Dress Edit Author Isabel Spearman said,

“This absolutely proves that fashion can be used as a force for good. It’s a win win situation – customers enjoy a guilt-free purchase and the charity hugely benefits.”

Smart Works CEO Kate Stephens said,

“It has been an inspiration to see the Smart Works community come together to raise this incredible amount of money. It will allow our charity to be there for more women at a time when female unemployment has never been so high, and our service never more needed.”

It was a huge project for everyone involved, but worth every moment to know we can continue helping unemployed women in need get the job and transform their lives.
