190 women, elegantly dressed for the occasion, and ready for a party, met for afternoon tea in The George Hotel. Jazz, from the Ritz Trio, played in the back ground. Flowers arranged in tea pots adorned every table. Comedienne, Jojo Sutherland, MC’d the event which included a fashion show by Biscuit of Thistle Street, raffles, auctions, games and of course an exquisite afternoon tea.
£8500 was raised for Smart Works all of which will go towards helping women change the course of their lives.
