Achievements and Recognition
Safe & Sound: Smart Works Reading is in the process of working towards being awarded the Safe & Sound award. Safe & Sound is a new quality award developed by Reading Voluntary Action that is locally relevant, credible and achievable.
Safe & Sound helps give Reading’s charities the confidence that they have reached a basic level of good governance. Reading Borough Council looks for organisations to have achieved, or be working towards, Safe & Sound or an equivalent award when they are considering funding applications.
We are particularly grateful for the generous support and creative partnerships that our supporters deliver for us.
