How to make an appointment

The Smart Works dressing and coaching service is delivered in Reading and is open to any unemployed woman who has a confirmed job interview.  We can also deliver our service virtually where travel is not possible.  We can offer Career Coaching to unemployed women to help secure a job interview.

All appointments are made by referral from another organisation or charity who is supporting a women on her on the journey to employment. Booking are taken online or over the phone, and only takes a couple of minutes.

To make an referral, please fill out this form or call us on 0118 959 4245. Simply provide us with a few details about your client, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5pm and we welcome clients every weekday and virtually where travel is not possible.  

We usually require at least a day’s notice to book an appointment but we will be as flexible as we can.  If in doubt, please call us and we will always do what we can to take your booking.

Smart Works Reading has over 100 referral partners in the Thames Valley, including Job Centre Plus, Reading Voluntary Action, West Berkshire Care Leavers Team, Brighter Futures for Children (children’s and family services in Reading), the Slough Hub (a social enterprise that helps the community find work) and The Dash Charity (domestic abuse support).
