Top Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Retailers Help Women into Work image
For the second time, Smart Works Edinburgh and i-on magazine are bringing a night of shopping and pampering to the city. Proceeds will go to Smart Works Edinburgh, enabling them to continue supporting women into work.

 

The sale is now a key event on the calendar, raising essential funds to enable the charity to continue providing women with an interview outfit, styling advice, and training.

 

Hosted by Radisson Collection, Royal Mile, on 7th November 2018, guests can shop for fabulous fashion, including new and previous season clothes, from a superb range of local retailers and exclusive brands: Belinda Robertson; Baw Bags; Cheri Milaney; Epitome; Eden Boutique; Captain Tortue; Kakao by K; Kitty Mackenzie Textiles; Le Tee Paris; Rachel Scott Accessories; Stella & Dott; SXP Designs; White Stuff and top-quality new or nearly new clothes from Smart Works Edinburgh.

 

Christmas will also be sorted with gorgeous gifts from Halidon Home; Skandi Living and Siabann. Guests will also enjoy complimentary mini make-overs from Smart Works’ national partner Bobbi Brown and hairstyling and nail painting from leading hairdresser, Cheynes.

“Following the success of our first pop-up sale in 2017, we’re once again delighted to be partnering with i-on to bring an even bigger, better and brighter experience on 7th November. We have received tremendous support from an eclectic mix of retailers who will be eagerly awaiting to assist guests with their Christmas shopping list (or indeed any list!)

Through their generous donations of a percentage of their sales plus that of our guests on the evening, Smart Works can continue the tremendous work undertaken by our volunteers to support women in Scotland return to work. Our role in improving their confidence and interview skills to succeed in securing employment alters the course of their lives, and their families’ too.

Our continued success and long-term goals can only be achieved through fundraising events such as this. The support we receive, in any shape or form, is always greatly appreciated and essential for our future development. 60% of our clients have secured employment, which tells you that Smart Works!”
